The trip was organised my friend, whom loving photographing very much, the model is especially birds, well birding and bird photography is one of the tough work in photography, if u not patient enough, never try this...but once i try, u may find how excited the tough adventure is. This trip is made purposely to sighting for the threathen endangered bird name as pitta.
I need no pay a single cent in this trip...well my friend is rich enough to spend my part hehe...My parent was keep askin whether that place are risky place, well i could only answer them no, else i couldn't have the chance to be there. We reached Bentong and stayed hotel there for one nite~ then the next early morning around 5 we have start our journey to the reserve forest-bukit rengit, somewhere near to Raub i think, it spend around 30 minutes from Bentong. When the time we reach, the forest is still dark, not much thing u can see clearly, i'm worrying cause my life can be lost anytime...but thanks god when time we walk in, it already 7 something, the sky look brighter. We find the place where my friend been before, the place that having his record of the bird appearing (well don tell me about the black panther and tiger again)...we set up a observe tent that use by the wild life biologist and army, myself never been inside such tent before....without that thing, if the bird observe you from about 300m away, well, you day will be done, they will not appear. Moreover, the tent could at least make me feel better, because the tent may lower the risk from attack by tiger and black panther. As i mentioned it wasn't a easy work, 10 times visiting only one time will the bird appear, likewise it is not easy to found for the threathen wild life. We start waiting for the bird from morning until 4pm something and as a result nothing, just have the calling which is just nearby, but the bird not appearing. One thing make me very respect my friend is he could really come to the place alone...it real sound crazy, really! Purposely wait for that bird, how many times back with nothing, the memory card of his superb DLSR empty...and saw a black panther eyes to eyes, in just 2-3m aways... He willing to sacrifice his money, time...!! He is qualify work for National Geographic hehe.. During the time we leaving, actually is due to the weather not allow, hence we rush escape from the jungle. When the way just about 2 meter plus to reach the car, he accidentally fall down, and end up with his gadget is broken, and what shout out from his mouth..."it willing to drop the gadget and pay for seeing the bird again"
